COMENIUS SOUTH EAST

Comenius South East the regional network of XCILT, the National Centre for Languages a partnership between Modern Languages at the University of Southampton and Hampshire Information and Advisory Service, Oxfordshire LEA, West Sussex LEA, Canterbury Christ Church University and Lord Grey School. Our mission is to bring together a wide expertise in Modern Language learning and teaching, to provide a resource base of materials, to co-ordinate a regular programme of MFL CPD and to be the focus for developments in MFL in the region.

The Centre currently has resource bases in the Avenue Campus of the University of Southampton as well as in Farnborough, Witney, Worthing, Canterbury and Bletchley. The resource bases have stocks of the latest materials and information for Modern Languages teaching and learning and we are supported by the regional KS2 and KS3 consultants and trainers - Jonathan Day, Comenius Manager and KS3 Regional Trainer.
