Please be aware that roundabouts in Milton Keynes are named. These names are shown in square brackets in the information below. The City is built around a grid of vertical (V) and horizontal (H) roads.

From the M1 Motorway

Coming from the South
Leave the motorway at Junction 13. At the roundabout, take the second exit on the left for the A421 to Milton Keynes. At the next roundabout, [Kingston], take the third exit on the left onto the A421 Standing Way. Continue as below.

Coming from the North
Leave the motorway at Junction 14. Go round the roundabout and head for Milton Keynes on the A509. At the next roundabout, [Northfield], turn left onto the A5130 and continue to the next roundabout, [Kingston]. Take the fourth exit onto the A421, Standing Way. Continue as below.

Continue
Continue on Standing Way, A421, and go over the following roundabouts: [Brinklow], (Kents Hill], [Netherfield], [Marina], [Hospital], [Coffee Hall], [Bleak Hall] and [Elfield Park]. Take the next left onto Denbigh Hall Drive, and at the mini-roundabout, turn right onto Whaddon Way. At the mini-roundabout, turn left onto Rickley Lane. Lord Grey School is the second entrance on the left.

From the M40 Motorway

Coming from the North
Leave the M40 at Junction 11. Turn left onto the A422 to Brackley and continue on the A422 to Buckingham. Leave Buckingham on the A421 towards Milton Keynes (South) and Bletchley. Continue as below.

Coming from the South
Leave the M40 at Junction 9 and take the A421 to Bicester. Continue on the A421 to Buckingham and at the third roundabout on the Buckingham Ring Road, turn right onto the A421. Follow signs for Milton Keynes (South) and Bletchley.

Continue
In ten miles, at the roundabout [Tattenhoe], continue along the A421/Standing Way and go over the next roundabout, [Windmill Hill]. Turn right at the [Emerson] roundabout onto Shenley Road and turn left at the mini-roundabout onto Whaddon Way. Continue to the next mini-roundabout and turn right onto Rickley Lane. Lord Grey is the second entrance on the left.
