John Lewis is the main supplier of Lord Grey school uniform to maintain our agreed standard. In the final six weeks of the summer term Years 7, 8 and 9 students will be permitted to wear the polo shirt (with jade trim and school logo) should they wish to. However, polo shirts are only available from the school.
Students will be expected to wear:
- White shirt
- Black tailored skirts/trousers
- Black v-neck pullover
- School tie *
- Sensible black shoes (no trainers or walking boots)
- Green blazer (with school logo) *
- Dark/plain outdoor jacket/coat

White polo t-shirt with Lord Grey logo*, navy blue shorts (plain), plain white ankle socks, training shoes (not black soles) and towel.
Outdoor Games
White shorts, navy blue rugby jersey*, navy knee length socks, football boots, towel and optional navy tracksuit.

Navy blue hooded sweatshirt with Lord Grey logo*, white polo t-shirt with Lord Grey logo*, plain navy blue shorts, navy blue knee length socks, training shoes, towel.

There is an optional waterproof jacket which can be purchased from the PE department at the school and may be worn for outdoor activities. PE staff strongly recommend the jacket as outdoor activities run in all weathers.
Navy blue tracksuit bottoms (plain) can be worn during inclement weather with the PE teacher’s permission. Students are expected to come prepared during bad weather and should bring more than one t-shirt for extra warmth.
It is recommended that students have a plastic bag for dirty clothes. All items of clothing should be clearly labelled and brought to all lessons.
- All jewellery must be removed on health and safety grounds.
- It is advisable for students to wear shin pads and/or gum shields when playing either rugby, hockey or football.
- Students must provide their own gum shield.
