Student Council and Student Voice
Our Student Council has been re-launched at Lord Grey with the aim of further promoting student voice as a positive force for change in our school and community.
Representatives attend House Council meetings with their Head of House on a regular basis to discuss matters of importance to their house and year group in particular.
Each House Council then sends two representatives to the Executive Student Council which meets at least four times per term to discuss whole school and community issues. The Executive Student Council is co-ordinated by Ms Angii Pender-Mitchell, and chaired by our Head Boy and Head Girl. Other staff get involved too, but the school tries to ensure that the students are the driving force behind the school’s Student Council.
