Welcome to the Germanish Fretalin Union!
This is the homepage of an online newspaper, exclusively for one day only, in the languages of German, Spanish, French and Italian. Each language has a set of articles ranging from the political views of its country, or countries that speak the language, to the fashion and music cultures. We aim to help language students out there develop their reading skills in their foreign language, with some interesting articles, that you all can relate to!
Our editorial team is comprised of several schools within Milton Keynes. Our base is Lord Grey School, with students taking part from Denbigh, St. Paul’s and of course Lord Grey. Our dedicated Language Editors Ajira Bouchada [French], Nicola Bird [Italian], Paul Clarke [Spanish] and Jo Munianga [German] have helped bring this all together and chased up even the laziest of language students! So a big thank you to all of them!
Also, a huge thank you to Mr Day for supervising the entire thing, Mrs Sherwood, Mrs Timsit-Paulin, Mrs Heineman and Carmen Sacca for helping us with the translation of the articles and for keeping everything running smoothly and encouraging us.
And finally, and I think most possibly the biggest thank you, to our wonderfully talented IT Webmaster Martin Price for creating the layout of the website! It’s brilliant and we are all eternally grateful!
So, with no further ado, browse away to your hearts content, broaden your language skills and enjoy our hard work and the articles we have to offer!
