Information about keeping safe, healthy and active during the closure period.

We know that students and families are anxious about the Coronavirus and that during the period of school closure access to normal services that support students and families may not be available.

We have a number of useful resources on the Academy website that support mental health, online issues and general parent/student support that can be accessed by clicking here.

You can find lots more support by clicking here to the ‘Safeguarding’ page of the Academy website. Please look under the ‘Downloads’ section on the righthand side of the page there are lots of useful resources.

Children and Family Practices Poster May 2020

If you are worried about the safety of any child please email safeteam@lordgrey.org.uk  If you are a student and you are worried about your safety then email safeteam@lordgrey.org.uk or refer to the resources and information on our website click here or visit the NSPCC  website click hereStudents and parents can also contact a member of the safeguarding team by calling 07495 362356 between 11am and 12 each weekday. If you are very worried about your safety or the safety of another child you should of course call 999.

In addition to keeping your mind active through home learning, it is important to keep physically active too.  There are lots of exercises that you can do even in a small space. Mr Parker does the daily PE lesson provided by Joe Wicks (don’t laugh) that is available on Youtube.  There are many other online fitness programmes too.
