The Canteen

The academy is committed to providing healthy and nutritious food options for all students at all times, in line with national targets and recommended standards.

Fresh water fountains are situated across the campus and chilled drinking water is available free at all times in the Canteen. Fresh bread and fruit are always available at a low price.

Our catering is cashless, using a bio-metric system, which can be paid for in advance via the internet on ParentMail. Contact the academy’s Student Services Team for more details on cashless catering and payment if there are any problems. Telephone: 01908 626176/167

Students should come to see for themselves what a fantastic range of food is on offer.

For packed lunches brought in from home, we encourage parents to ensure that the lunch items are balanced, healthy, nutritious and from a range of food groups.

Free School Meals

If you feel your child is entitled to Free School Meals and he/she is currently not receiving it, you will need to complete the online application form. The current eligibility criterion is shown on the first page of the online application. You can find the link here to the application form.

Once you have your reference number, please email our Registrar, registrar@lordgrey.org.uk who will confirm your eligibility and update the school records accordingly.
